If you sign in, we may receive an account identifier, email address and name from Apple or Google, depending on what you choose to share. We also keep the session and basic device information needed to maintain and protect your account.

To provide cloud sync, we store your collection, watchlist and related card details, such as quantity, grade and certification number where applicable.

When you use the service, we may process general technical and request information, such as the time and page requested, approximate region, browser or device type, preferences, and search or recognised scan text. Card photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to OPENHOLO.

We use information to provide and personalise the service, authenticate accounts, sync saved cards, respond to requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and improve reliability.

We process information where it is needed to provide a service you request, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating a safe and reliable service, with your consent where required, or to comply with applicable law.

We may share the minimum information necessary with providers that support authentication, hosting, infrastructure and security. Apple and Google process sign-in information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety and integrity of OPENHOLO, our users or others. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

OPENHOLO links to marketplaces, grading services and other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Some links to eBay listings on OPENHOLO are affiliate links under the eBay Partner Network. If you follow one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from eBay. The price you pay is not affected.

These links carry a campaign identifier so that eBay can recognise the visit as coming from OPENHOLO, and a reference that records which card page the link was on. They do not carry your account details, your email address or anything else that identifies you personally. Once you arrive on eBay, eBay may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

We use essential cookies, local storage and on-device storage to keep the service working and remember settings such as language, currency and display preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Account and synced data are generally kept while your account remains active. Limited records may be retained for security, legal or backup purposes before being deleted or anonymised.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may use the core browsing and price-comparison features without signing in. If you have an account, you can manage linked sign-in methods or delete the account from Settings in the app. Deleting your account removes the account and cloud-synced data from our active systems. Data stored locally on your device remains under your control.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, or request a portable copy. You may contact us to make a request or raise a privacy concern, and you may also contact your local data protection authority.

OPENHOLO is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
